Meticulously detailed and based on objects of significance to the deceased, such coffins are an important aspect of the burial ritual. According to Arts on the point , this art form is practiced particularly by the Ga community in Ghana. And what do these coffins depict ? They reflect the status, occupation, tastes, or desires of the departed. Socio-economic Classification - Are we (in) SEC C?

Acknowledgements for this entry go to the interviewers in my last mock-interview, who asked my about the SEC bands and specifics! SEC, i.e. Socio-economic Classification is a classification made in the urban and the rural sector, to identify the consumption pattern and the household purchase behavior. Based on education levels, occupation, type of household , etc. the population is divided into separate bands, called the Socio-economic Classes. Lifebuoy "Swasthya Chetna" Campaign for Rural India

Last week , Chief Post Master General of Maharashtra Circle, K Noorjehan, released a special Lifebuoy Swasthya Chetna Postal Cover on the occasion of World Health Day . It was the first time that an Indian Brand had been featured on a postal cover, and the fact that the Indian government has recognized the efforts of HLL in health and hygiene in such a manner reinforces the strong Brand Association of Lifebuoy with Health! According to Business Line , the postal cover has been released to recognise Lifebuoy's pioneering rural health and hygiene education initiative, Lifebuoy Swasthya Chetna The ED of HLL, Nitin Paranjpe asserted that “ Lifebuoy is the one brand that wants to start that one movement that will change the world ”. To a certain extent, an orientation has already been made to this effect.
